Over the next 2 days we are going to read seven letters to seven churches. If you have a “red letter Bible” you will notice these are all in red letters which means this is Jesus speaking. We will cover this in more detail as we gather tomorrow but let’s consider this.
Jesus is speaking directly to the church. He is taking time to talk to the church in different seasons of life. Losing your first love, being persecuted, compromising, being corrupt, dealing with spiritual lifelessness, being faithful, and during seasons of being lukewarm are all places we can find ourselves. Yet Jesus is still speaking to the church during these times. Jesus is calling out no matter the season. He didn’t stop speaking and He hasn’t stopped speaking. No matter where we might find ourselves today Jesus is faithful. Are you in any of these seasons of life? Call out to Him!
