Father, minister to our hearts. Holy Spirit speak to us through Your scriptures. We open our hearts to hear from you. Amen!

The Lord responds. Just as Jesus often answered questions with His own questions later in history, the Lord speaks to Job in the same way: "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding." Job 38:4

Job just didn't understand why he had to suffer so greatly. If we're honest we still have a similar question about Job's life as well. We may even still ask similarly of the Lord why we are dealing with struggles of our own. I can relate to these questions & struggles in seasons. Sometimes I even wonder how long these seasons will last. Job, nor us, may get the answer we want.

Paul faced his own struggles. He pleaded with the Lord multiple times for relief, and the Lord responded, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Paul then declared, "Therefore, I will gladly boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Cor 12:9

Today, instead of seeking answers, turn your gaze to the Lord & worship. Your worship in this season may be the answer to your prayers.
