The greatest of good was looked at like He was evil. The greatest of evil will be looked at as good.

This week there’s been a greater awareness of the goodness of God. We celebrate the birth of the Messiah, Jesus! When Jesus was born into this world the leader of the day tried to kill Him, murder was rampant. He was also accused of being demonic, yet Jesus was perfect and good in all His ways. And yet the greatest evil coming to this world will be clothed in goodness, but it will be false.

“So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.” Revelation 17:3-4

Doesn’t sound Christmas-y huh? Remember Jesus overcame then and will overcome again. For we read, “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of Lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”” Revelation 17:14

The greatest evil will parade itself as good by trying to imitate Jesus. But evil will show its cards. So today, tomorrow, and on and on let’s celebrate Jesus, the conquering King. The Lamb slain who will overcome.
