Even when the toughest of times and the greatest of foes are present so is the opportunity for victory.

John continues sharing the vision he was given. Notice he says in verse 1, “Then I saw another sign” which helps us to understand these were windows of time he was being shown. Not necessarily chronological in order but particular parts the Lord was wanting him to see and share dealing with these days.

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.” Revelation 15:2

Even the greatest of foes John see those who have victory over the beast! Their victory was in turning to Christ. And now they are standing in victory. They have peace (represented by harps). Not saying those aren’t actual harps but think about how peaceful the sound of the harp is. To overcome the greatest of foes and the toughest of times in victory and peace says much about how great God is.

These things belong to those in Christ today as well. No matter what you’re facing right now victory can be had. For some today is a battle to face. Maybe you are fighting depression, loneliness, pride, greed… you name it… we all have battles to face and foes to overcome. Today, don’t forget in turning to Christ you can stand in victory and have the presence of peace in your hands.
