You know you’re in battle right now right? If you are a believer every demon in hell wants you to fail. If you’re not a believer every demon in hell wants you to stay blinded from the truth. The cost of losing determines where your soul will spend eternity. Your soul is you, it’s who you are! You don’t want to lose this battle.
We get to see some major imagery as John shares. A woman giving birth. A dragon waiting to devour the child. The women running into the woods, while a dragon is spewing water from its mouth., only to be eaten up by the earth. Yep, crazy right? You might even be reading this and think Christians are crazy for believing this. Remember, this is imagery of truth. The lady (Israel), the child (Jesus), the dragon (Satan). Even before Jesus comes on the scene Satan is already waiting to attack Him and anyone who follows Him. This is the battle I’m talking about. But because of Jesus we can…

Satan only has a short time. Some days are going to be major battles, other days may be lighter. But know each day we must be intentional to seek the Truth and live the truth. That desire to do something other than follow Jesus… that’s the dragon. He wants nothing more than to steer you away from eternal life in Christ and knowing the Father. Be intentional in seeking and living the truth. Today is a day of victory no matter the battle.
