Christ-Centered Community. Fellowship can be said as, “Two fellows in a ship” which means likeminded people heading to the same destination. What does your Christ-Centered community look like?

At the beginning of Romans we read, “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.” (Romans 1:8). Now, at the end of this letter we are reminded the same, “For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.” Romans 16:19

I pray your faith is heard of throughout your sphere of influence. In this last chapter of Romans 36 people are mentioned. Men and women from all walks of life, each uniquely gifted for the mission of the church. All mentioned as important to partnering with Paul for the furtherance of the Gospel. This is the church, the people that come together in the name of Christ and for the cause of Christ. They were an encouragement to each other in different seasons of life. Are you part of a Christ-Centered community? If not, you should be. Even though life is messy don’t let the enemy of your soul discourage you in missing out on the beauty of messiness. Love God, love people (that includes messiness)!
