It’s okay… there are times where we need to pray for the desire of our hearts to be aligned with the Father’s love for people. The question is, “Do you?”

Paul says, “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.” Romans 10:1

His desire was for those around him to be saved. To have personal knowledge or a relationship with the Lord. He talks about putting your faith in Christ and about people sharing about faith in Christ. He says, “And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”” (Romans 10:15). Just to be clear he wasn’t talking about a position in the church but about someone who shares (preaches). That could be you where you live, work, and play… and it very well should be each of us!

Maybe, that’s not where your heart is now… PRAY! Maybe, with difficulties in life you are having a hard time considering others… PRAY! Whatever the case may be the best way to have a desire for others is first having a desire to be in the presence of the Lord and that’s why we pray.

It’s okay… go to the Father, let Him do a work in your heart, and watch as your desires change especially for others to be saved!
