When you look at a house what does it tell you? Consider for a minute the fact there is a house means there is someone who built the house. The same is true when we look around at creation. The beauty of a sunset, forest, mountains, or the beach. The intelligence of the water cycle and the atmosphere. You see all this points to a creator, someone way more intelligent than us creating the world and everything in it. Even yourself, you are a marvel of creation… the human body is still a mystery even with all the knowledge we have through much science.

Look at what Romans says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,” Romans 1:20

All of creation is evidence of a Creator. Let me not even get started on the evidence of Jesus Christ living, dying, and the resurrection. And yet people still reject God.   One side of the Gospel is the wonderful grace of the Father. The other side is the wrath of God mentioned in verse 18, but you and I get the opportunity to express our faith in a wonderful Savior, a wonderful Father.

“To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.” Romans 1:7-8

The same calling offered here is offered to us. To be saints by faith. Not the robe, fancy, wearer of big hats kind... but the kind that expresses their faith in Christ by loving Him and loving others. Living sacrificially for the sake of the Gospel and to see people come to personally know the Father.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

Would your faith be spoken of in all the world? What would be the marker for what you are known for today? Would the Father get the glory for how you live your life? We are called to be saints to manifest the love of Christ to a loveless world.
