Life! We are all doing life. We are students, parents, businesspeople, laborers, and leaders. Life is happening before our eyes. Plenty to do, time is passing by, and life for billions is moving forward each day.

Think about it for a second: God incarnate walked the earth in the form of man. He mingled with His creation: Talking, laughing, crying, loving, caring and being present in the lives of people. We read in John 1, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” John 1:3

Jesus attends a wedding, speaks with people working a wedding event, walks among farmers, talks to merchants, and interacts with businessmen. God walked among them, doing life as we do every day.

We read, “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.” (John 2:11). His disciples believed in Him, but we also read, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.” (John 2:24-25). Jesus knew some’s belief was a superficial belief, there wasn’t any depth to it. A question to ask ourselves, “Does my belief in Jesus change how I do life?”

May we marvel that God, Himself, came in the form of man. Jesus was born into this world as a baby. He needed to be breastfed, walk thru dangers of childhood and adulthood. He grew up in a world with disease and poverty just like we have. He walked through this world perfectly because you and I couldn’t. We have sinned. His whole goal was for us to know Him and to restore us to Himself. Does that alter how you will choose to live your life today? Tomorrow? Don’t let the business of life deter you from fully knowing Him. Many did, let’s not be the many.
