The moment you are in right now is unique and will never be repeated. I mean consider it; the people who may or may not be there, the thoughts of each person including your own, the circumstance at hand... this unique moment will never be repeated.
James said, “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” James 4:13-14
The Holy Spirit led David to write, “So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12
There is much wisdom in recognizing life is short and each moment you have is unique. What will you do with those moments today? Will you live them for yourself, your own gain or will you invest those moments in loving God and loving people? We each get to use our time as we desire. Just remember we are not guaranteed tomorrow or those 72.3 years we expect, so live today, live each unique moment, for the glory of God.
