What do you do with Jesus? I’m asking you who is reading this. Stop for a minute, consider… what you do with Jesus?
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20
The writer of Hebrews says Jesus went before us into the full presence of the Father so we could follow Him there. He was the forerunner making the way! So, let me ask you… what do you do with Jesus?
Jesus said, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
Eternal life is knowing the Father. To be clear not just knowing about the Father but KNOWING the Father. And to KNOW the Father we must put our faith in Jesus.
As Jesus walked this earth as God incarnate, we read this, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6).
So, I ask again… what do you do with Jesus? See, Jesus said eternal life was KNOWING the Father, and knowing the Father is knowing Jesus. Then Jesus said the ONLY way to the Father is thru Him. No other way, no other method, no works, not a different enlightenment, not your opinion, no other option, no other religion, nothing… BUT JESUS! The Hebrews struggled with going back to other methods for salvation instead of turning to Jesus and walking with Jesus. So as you read this, pray… Go to Jesus, spend time with Jesus, and walk with Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, He is the Way, He is the Truth, He is Life!
