Jesus took his seat folks… when He had conquered the power of sin Jesus took His seat in the Kingdom of Heaven!

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:1-3

How many ways has He spoken to us and for how long? Yet still some don’t believe or haven’t made Him Lord of their lives? Heartbreaking!

“The 66 books of the Bible were written by 40 authors including two kings, two priests, a physician, two fishermen, two shepherds, a legalistic theologian, a statesman, a tax collector, soldier, scribe, a butler, and 25 others from equally diversified backgrounds ranging from peasants and poets to statesman and scholars. They wrote in the wilderness from dungeons and exile wartime in peacetime over a period of 1600 years in several countries on three continents in three languages and hundreds of controversial subjects. However, even with all of those variables this book of books is in perfect harmony with itself. It remains in precise agreement with all other factual, historical, archaeological, and scientific works both current and past. The Bible contains flashes of inspired poetry as well as detailed history, captivating biography, letters, memoirs, prophetic writings. Yet it speaks with astonishing continuity, miraculous accuracy, tells one unfolding story, God‘s redemption of men and women.  The harmony of the variables goes beyond the realm of chance, the holy Bible is a miracle of God‘s preservation that can’t be denied.” - Jay Carty

With all that what else needs to be said? Jesus gave His perfect life as a ransom in a divine exchange for our sin. What love?!

“But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:18-20

The love of Father, the grace of Jesus, and the communion of the Holy Spirit transforms us! Come on… give the Lord some praise this morning! He took His seat so we could take a stand in Him.
