Dad, daddy, daddy.... dad... dad... hey dad...DADDY!! I have always taken it as a challenge to see how long my boys could go before, they stopped repeating “daddy” to get my attention. Let me just say, they are relentless.
“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”” Galatians 4:6
Being born-again is a game changer. New life means new behaviors, new priorities and new perspectives. It just doesn’t make sense to say, “I am born-again.” and yet do life the same you always have or at least it shouldn’t. Our lives should no longer revolve around the sun anymore, but should revolve around the SON.
Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.” Mark 10:15-16
Does being born-again have you calling out to the Father as “Daddy” and have you expressing faith like a little child? We often want to handle things on our own and by our own way. If we have been born-again though, He is our Father, He is our Daddy... and the Spirit in us cries out, “Abba, Father.” Being born-again gives us adopted rights as children of the Most High King. When we walk in that we are blessed indeed.
