When I was a kid (still a big kid now) we had those connect-the-dot drawings. You would connect numbers until it created a picture, then color it in. Sometimes I wouldn’t recognize the picture until all the dots were connected.

Paul had been thru it, yet there was still more the Lord had for him. His gospel presentation had been interrupted by the mob.  In front of the Jewish leaders Paul sharing didn't go well either. We see Paul in a holding cell when we read this, “But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”” Acts 23:11

Paul hears from the Lord. Right after Paul finds out by his nephew there is going to be an attempt on his life. The commander is informed and makes plans to send Paul to Felix. He delegates soldiers and horses to protect Paul to get him there.

The Lord connects the dots in our lives the question is, “Do we recognize it?” 1) Paul was able to testify to his brethren, (2) testify to Jewish leadership, (3) the Lord placed his nephew in the right place to hear of plans on Paul’s life, (4) gave his nephew access to inform Paul of the death threat, (5) Paul was then protected by Roman soldiers, (6) and would soon get to be a witness of Jesus in Rome. Dots were being connected and they are connected in our lives too. God is always working! Are you too busy to recognize God is working in and through you? Do you take the time to see God working in your life? If not, ask to be more aware of how God is connecting the dots in your life.
