66 books of the Bible written over a span of 1500 years. Inspired by the Holy Spirit there are around 40 writers God used to pen the Bible which includes various prophets, musicians, kings, a tax collector, doctor, disciple, Jesus’ brother, a man who once conspired as a murderer, and fishermen. Compiled together records the same message; a loving God, redeeming people through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus!   Paul stands up in the synagogue of the Jews and shares the truth about God. He uses references from the same Scriptures we read today. He references 6 different books, various parts of history that was recorded all culminating to the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

Read through Acts 13:15-41

Here was their response:

“Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.” Acts 13:48-50

Some responded with joy and gladness others stirred up strife. We are His messengers as well. Getting the opportunity to share the greatest news ever recorded. Even with some receiving and others denying look at the response of the disciples, “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 13:52

It’s a joy to share the Good News of Christ, don’t let the enemy convince you otherwise. You can start by telling your redemption story. You once were this and now because of the work of Christ, you are now this! Our mission field isn’t far away it’s where we live, work, and play. In the name of Jesus, we go...

- To Know Jesus. To Live on Mission.
