Moms and dads sometimes say after giving birth, “I will never be the same.” There are unforgettable times that are life changing, maybe you can think of one yourself where you have said the same, “I will never be the same.”?

Paul begins this chapter saying, “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” 2 Corinthians 6:1

He is saying the grace God has shown you please don’t take in vain. Don’t waste it, don’t forget about it, don’t throw it to the side like it’s worthless, don’t let it not affect your life. The power of the grace of God should and will transform our lives.

Let’s call it a hinge verse, but the Bible says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,” (Ephesians 2:4). Prior to this verse it talks about us living in a way that was unfruitful and harmful to ourselves and others… BUT GOD… and after this verse the Bible talks about the transformation that happens to us because of the great love of God in our lives. The change? The hinge? Is recognizing the grace of God, recognizing the depth of His great love. Have you recognized it, noticed it, took account for what it truly means to receive the grace and love of God? We are not transformed because of things we do better but by the power of God.
