Battles in life are fought win or lose every day. Beyond the physical folks are fighting a spiritual battle each day. Some do not even recognize it.
With a battle looming against Judah we read, “All Judah was standing before the Lord, with their infants, their wives and their children.” (2 Chronicles 20:13). As they turn to the Lord, He delivers them from destruction and we read, “returning to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.” 2 Chronicles 20:27
Psalm 46 was written after this battle. They record, “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;” Psalms 46:1-2
Do you recognize you’re in a spiritual battle? Do you recognize who you need to turn to in the battle you’re facing today?
Battles are won and lost every day. Victory though, is the Lord’s. Judah found their victory in turning to and praising the Lord. Our victory is just on the other side of us turning to the Lord and praising Him. Victory is yours in the Lord today!
