Even though written 1000 years before Jesus walked the earth these Messianic Psalms are prophetic in nature. As you read Psalm 22 you will see the events of Jesus on cross, how they crucified Him, His dehydration, and even how others would gamble for Jesus’ clothes.
Psalm 23 speaks of the Shepherd. The crook was part of the shepherd’s staff. He used this to protect and provide which is a symbol of Jesus walk on this earth.
Psalm 24 speaks of Jesus being crowned in glory. “Who is this King of glory?” reads verse 8. After a short description, “…The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah” Psalms 24:10
Reading these Psalms must strengthen our faith. There’s too much in these scriptures about Jesus (prophetic in nature) to not be encouraged by!
