Who do you credit for your position in life? There is no such thing as a self-made person…

“For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall” Psalm 18:29

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.” Psalm 18:32

“He makes my feet like the feet of deer and sets me on my high places.” Psalm 18:33

“He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze...” Psalm 18:34

“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, your gentleness has made me great...” Psalm 18:35

“You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip.” Psalm 18:36

“For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.” Psalm 18:39

“You have also given me the necks of my enemies, so that I destroyed those who hated me.” Psalm 18:40

“You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; You have made me the head of the nations…” Psalm 18:43

May we acknowledge the Lord and His plans and purposes for us. He told Jeremiah He formed him in his mother’s womb and had plans for him (Jeremiah 1). The same is true for us whether we acknowledge the Lord or not. May we praise the Lord for how He has created, purposed, and placed us.
