The rush of our days can take us away from recognizing and enjoying what we’ve been given.

What does the psalmist say praises the Lord? “Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!” Psalms 148:3

And continues… “Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded, and they were created.” (Psalms 148:5) speaking of great sea creatures, weather patterns, mountainous areas, forests, land animals, and reptiles and birds. These things express the creativity of our Creator and give Him praise by their existence.

The psalmist says old and young people, and leaders of the world, “Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.” Psalms 148:13

Do you allow the rush of the day to take you away from praising the Lord? I can be guilty of this for sure. Let’s remind ourselves today… He is worthy to be praised and it’s fitting we praise Him this day. Plan a few minutes today to stop and just praise the Lord.

“Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.” Psalms 148:13
