I’ve heard some sayings over my years, maybe you have too? If you’re from the south you may have heard, “If the Creek Don’t Rise”. We got sayings from all over.

Here is one from the psalmist though talking about our l upon and running down the beard. We read, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.” Psalms 133:1-3

It’s a sweet thing to be in unity with our spiritual brothers and sisters. Sure, there are essentials which we cannot waiver from but for most divisions we see within the body of Christ there no need for disunity. What do you seek more; ways to divide or ways to unite? Don’t let your mind go to reasons why you should divide. Truth be told there are less hills we should die on than we choose to everyday. Let’s seek unity in the Spirit.
