“It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.” Psalms 118:8
How much confidence do we really put in men? In others or ourselves? If we just sat down and thought through where our dependency lies would it favor the Lord or man?
It’s my tendency at times to think I can handle it all or work it all out on my own. I heard a wise man once say the 3 most dangerous words are, “I got it! What if it in whatever we did our first person we ran to was Jesus? What if the first person we sought wisdom from was Holy Spirit? What if the first person we sought love from was the Father?
Let us be reminded, “It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.” Psalms 118:8
