“Well, if this happens then things will change.”, we say.

3 different situations in Psalm 103, 104, & 105. It’s believed 103 was around the time David’s sin with Bathsheba was pardoned, 104 was near the end of his life, and 105 was then the ark was removed from Obed-Edom’s house. What do we see similar in each? Praising the Lord!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!” Psalms 103:1

“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,” Psalms 104:1

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalms 105:1

In talking about being justified Paul continues the thought, “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations…” (Romans 5:3). It doesn’t matter the circumstance as we praise the Lord with joy in our heart Jesus gets the glory.

It doesn’t take a change in circumstances to see a change in us. We believed the Lord for our salvation, why not believe we can praise, worship, and remain in His joy no matter what life throws at us? Let’s believe in His good work in us and let our lives be an expression of Jesus to those around us!
