Say this to yourself as David said it to himself, "Bless the Lord, O my soul!"

There are countless reasons to bless the Lord. Have you done so? Jesus is enough, but the Father didn't stop there. Over and over, His blessings pour upon us. Our circumstances, feelings, or shortcomings do not determine the goodness of the Lord. Have you said to yourself, "Soul, bless the Lord"?

David in talking about the shortness of life writes, "For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children," Psalms 103:16-17

No matter the twists in the road, when we bless the Lord, it becomes a reminder of His everlasting mercy. One day, we may be someone else's reminder. And another day, someone else may remind us of the Lord's goodness. May we each say to our soul: "Bless the Lord, O my soul!"

Remember, knowing the Father we know, "As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us". Psalm 103:12

O' our souls, bless the Lord!
