Consider for a moment who’s the most intentional person you know?

“The lazy man says, “There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!” As a door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy man on his bed. The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth. The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly.” Proverbs 26:13-16

Intentionality is important. It’s a choice we each need to make daily. That intentionality is a part of our purpose. Jesus got up every day and made the decision to be about His Father’s business. When Jesus was 12, He said, “Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49). Right before Jesus was betrayed, He also said, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” (Matthew 26:42 ).

His whole life Jesus was intentionally about His Father’s business. He told us to do the same. How intentional are you? We each have to make decisions daily to be intentional. Putting His way before our own. We need not to be lazy but to live intentionally in Christ by the power of His Spirit. Don’t fret yesterday choose this day to be intentional in Jesus.
