“Like the cold of snow in time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters. Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is like clouds and wind without rain.” Proverbs 25:13-14
We are messengers. Every day in life, the way we speak, respond, act, and the depth of our integrity communicates a message. Your life and mine either refreshes souls or gives empty hope. Paul actually said it this way, “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,” (II Corinthians 5:18). He goes on to say, “we are ambassadors”.
What message are you communicating? Not just with words but with your actions. May those closest to you, and even strangers, be enriched, replenished, and offered fulfilling hope as we walk and talk of Christ and His kingdom.
