Take a towel, soak it in water, and wring it out.
Today I wanted to share just from the overflow of what the Lord is sharing with me:
"The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.
A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." Proverbs 16:1, 3, 9, 25
Stop for a second!
What seeds are you planting in your mind? Heart? Life?
Picture this: You're soaking a white towel in a bucket of blue water. Lift it, twist, and whoosh, blue water is pouring out all over the ground, And now? The towel isn't just dripping blue; it's stained blue, through and through.
That's us.
Every scroll, every song, every thought, every commitment seeps into the fabric of who we are and gushes onto everyone around us and becomes influential in our lives.
How we prepare our hearts, what we set our minds on, and what we commit to shapes our entire lives.
So reflect today: What are you absorbing? What seeds are you sowing in your own life?
Let's reset. Refresh your heart and mind in Jesus and His ways. Take a few minutes to let Jesus be the first thing you soak your mind and heart with today!
To Know Jesus. To Live on Mission.
