Have you traveled? Chances are you either had a backpack with a comfy strap or for longer stays a suitcase with a handle on wheels. It’s a lot easier to travel than it used to be.

The Lord spent time out detailing to Moses specific instructions on building the tabernacle. The outside wall was @75ft wide and 150ft long. The furniture was made with heavy precious metals (much with gold). The tabernacle was mobile though and was carried from place to place. We read, “And when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is set to go, then the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them; but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. “These are the things in the tabernacle of meeting which the sons of Kohath are to carry.” Numbers 4:15

There were many assigned to carry specific parts of the tabernacle, but have you ever considered what traveling in the desert with heavy odd, shaped objects that needed to be carried in a certain way would be like? It had to be a burden and tough; and this happened for 40 years.

Today, because of Jesus’ death on the cross we are now the temple, and He is always present with us. All the work that was required to be in the presence of the Lord was nailed to the cross by Jesus. We aren’t required to work so hard to come into His presence. Jesus made a way for us to worship at any place, at any time. Yet I can still find myself at times being complacent in my worship at times. How about you? He made a way to worship freely so are you going worship Him today?
