What kind of life decisions are you facing now? Maybe, you can think of a few upcoming situations where decisions need to be made. Before you read any further consider a few.
“This is what the Lord commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying…” Numbers 36:6
As the inheritance is being divided there arises a situation with how to handle land inherited by daughters when they get married. Israel comes to Moses to ask the Lord what to do and He gives them a command how to handle the situation. What we see is Israel honoring the Lord and coming to Him when situations arise.
What do you do when decisions need to be made? At times I make quick decisions instead of going to the Lord for help and wisdom. Other times I spend time with the Lord and seek His wisdom and will. The Lord is less interested in telling you what to do than He is with having His child come to Him to handle decisions and situations. Let me encourage you as I also encourage myself: Spend time with the Father. Ask Him for help with situations in life and talk to Him about things going with you. Take joy in the relationship He offers. He takes joy in you seeking Him.
