38 years prior to dividing the land the Lord promised Israel they were slaves in a foreign land. Their mentality was of a defeated mindset and weakness. The Lord sends Moses to bring them out of Egypt. They have watched the Lord go before them, have become warriors, and have identity as people of God. Now, we see the land of Israel as an inheritance from the Lord. There still will be battles but this is a stronger people than before. “”Command the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance—the land of Canaan to its boundaries.” Numbers 34:2
Victory, being an overcomer, and the Lord as an inheritance belongs to those who believe in Jesus. The Lord did much in the lives of Israel. He is doing even more with the church today. The blood of Jesus and the power of Holy Spirit take us from bondage in this world to overcomers. Today, it’s not about lands but about hearts. Does Jesus have your heart? If so, then Jesus wants you to lead others in the same life-transforming truth.
