Dealing with anything the Lord does relationship is His key. God is relational in every step of life. We’ve read about a generation of Israel who have experienced bondage, freedom, the presence of the Lord, and ups and downs in life. In this chapter we see the Lord taking care of Israel with the same heart He has all along.

“So Moses brought their case before the Lord. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Now the Lord said to Moses: “Go up into this Mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel. And the Lord said to Moses: “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;” Numbers 27:5-6, 12, 18

The Lord cares about the daughters of Israel, Moses, and Israel’s future. Do you know He cares about your family, you personally, and your future? Each time we speak to the Lord about life His heart is to serve us. He’s a relational God. We can forget to include Him at times or try to handle it all ourselves then we expect Him to change things last minute. How about we pray first, allow Him to lead, and include Him in all our ways. “A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9). It can be easy going at it on our own but remember He’s in the details. Spend time letting Him pour into your life by pouring into alone time with Him.
