Perspective. Sometimes while in the valley we don’t recognize the blessings.

Balak is aware of the blessings on Israel. He continues to seek Israel’s harm in fear they will take what he believes is his.

Then from the valley Israel’s complaining and questioning their well-being and survival. They aren’t recognizing the blessing on their lives. Yet someone they don’t know and who is doing his best to curse them is aware of how much they are blessed. “”Who can count the dust of Jacob, Or number one-fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, And let my end be like his!” Then Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and look, you have blessed them bountifully!”” Numbers 23:10-11

The Lord’s blessing was upon Israel. Yet an entire generation only recognized their valley experience. Are you walking in the valley and forgetting the blessings upon your life? If you are a child of God, YOU ARE BLESSED. Your momentary circumstances don’t define the blessings of God. Don’t let His blessings only be recognized by your so-called enemies. Even when you can’t see over the mountains walk in, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6
