What growth is more important to you?

“Now when the wall had been built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed, I gave my brother Hanani and Hananiah the governor of the castle charge over Jerusalem, for he was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many.” Nehemiah 7:1-2

Nehemiah had finished building the wall and hanging the doors of the gate. His next priority was to appoint tasks and promote leaders. Nehemiah didn’t focus on his agenda, but the Lord’s agenda. Nehemiah knew he needed to delegate and promote for the expansion of the kingdom of God.

Jesus did the same. He took ordinary men, taught them, showed them, walked with them, and sent them on mission. He trusted His Father with others, and we should too!

What about you and me… are you interested in your growth or the growth of God’s kingdom and others around you? Investing, promoting, and delegating tasks to others shows trust in the Lord and not in ourselves. So… invest, promote, and delegate. Quit focusing on your thing so the Lord can do His thing!
