He sees it all! Every word we say, every generous act, every sacrifice we make… He sees it all.
Jesus is continuing to teach, and man is He teaching. Throwing down words of wisdom to live by. He who has ears let him hear. Notice Jesus says, “and your Father who sees in secret” … “and your Father who sees in secret” … “and your Father who sees in secret” Matthew 6:4, 6, 18 partial
Are you living to impress others? Really consider it. What do you have to prove and who do you have it to prove too? Every generous act, every prayer we speak, and every sacrifice we make is seen by our Father in heaven.
When we stop doing things to impress others and in turn live our lives for the glory of God things change. Not only does our lives truly give space for the Kingdom of heaven to breath on others but the weight of the world is removed from our shoulders. We can all be guilty of living to impress others at times. The beautiful thing is we get to go back to the teachings of Jesus and ask Him to help us live out the beauty of His kingdom.
Father, I need You. Not only do I worry about others but also worry about life at times. I thank You for Your Son’s teachings. I thank You, and Him, for His sacrifice that makes it possible to call out to You. Thank You for seeing all things in secret. Help me to live for You more today than yesterday. In Jesus name, Amen.
