How do you handle your interactions with others? What kind of mentality do you walk into meetings, confrontations, friendships, family… you name it… what type of mentality?

Many times, we see Jesus teaching its life-on-life discipleship. He uses situations and interactions to teach. What we read today is one of five discourses we see Jesus share. To attempt to summarize: it’s about the mentality we live in while interacting in this world.

“For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?” Matthew 5:46

Today, tomorrow, and so on we will either be His kingdom minded or our kingdom minded. We can think about ourselves in our interactions, or we can live for the glory of God. How we speak, how we react, and our presence wherever we go can either bring light to the kingdom of heaven or to your personal kingdom. One will end the other is for eternity. You can live for you and yours or for Him and His. Up to you!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
