Pre, Mid, Post Tribulation!

Jesus prophesies over Jerusalem and more. In parts of his prophecy He tells about the destruction of the temple in 70AD. He also prophesies about His future return. There are well meaning scholars who debate what Jesus meant here.

Regardless of what you believe has or will happen consider Jesus' words, "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matt 24:12

The further we get from Jesus' resurrection the worst things have gotten. As time passes the things Jesus prophesied about getting worse have happened so we need to ask ourselves about today, this week, month, or even this upcoming year. Is our hope in Jesus? The disciples hope was in Jesus even in the midst of persecution or death & it transformed the way they lived.

This isn't doom and gloom we just need to consider where we find our hope. If it's in anything other than Jesus it will fail. When Peter was asked if they would leave Jesus, Peter replied, "You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

This is where our hope comes from. This is the hope we get the privilege to share. Yes Lord, thank You!
