Woe to who?

Remember, Matthew isn't written in chronological order. We get to this area near the end of Jesus' ministry where He's being very challenging.

"Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes." Matt 11:20-21

Jesus goes on to challenge those in Capernaum as well for seeing His miracles but not turning to Him. To say the least... the heat is on! Woe to who?

Consider for a minute what you have seen Jesus do. The lives that have been turned around in Jesus. Those addicted freed or lifetime adulterers and sinners turned to saints. And let's not forget the evidence all around us of the power of Christ love. Yet we question, others even question the goodness of God at times. What else does the Lord need for repentance to be had? What else does He have to do for us to fully follow Jesus with our whole hearts? He's done enough for me. I hope he's done enough for you!
