“Well, if I listen to you, and everything you put in my ear, I'll be living like woulda, shoulda, coulda, I'll be paralyzed by fear, Huh, ain't that the truth, if I quit the only way I lose, I got two choices when I do this - make moves or make excuses”. - Andy Mineo

Jesus has been crucified and buried for three days. The disciples have accepted defeat and are hiding out. The stone has been rolled between the people and Jesus. We read, “Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”” Mark 16:1-3

These women didn’t allow even the greatest tragedy to stop them. Sure, they were upset and distraught by the death of Jesus. Yet, they are walking to the tomb. They didn’t even know how they were going to get this stone out of the way. They had no clear plan on how to get to Jesus, but they knew they were going to get to Him. They were on a mission. Even though they didn’t have all the details they still woke up that day and set out to accomplish what was laid on their heart.

There will be times when others will try to roll a stone between you and Jesus. There will be times you will allow yourself to roll a stone in between you and Jesus. But remember this: you can make moves, or you can make excuses…

Jesus won’t allow anything between you and Him on His end, don’t allow anything to come between Him and you on your end.
