Jesus either is or isn't... and it's up to each of us to decide. Jesus says here, ""But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?" Luke 6:46
Jesus challenges all those who come to Him with this question. Is Jesus Lord of your life? I mean really... this is a question we all have to ask ourselves. This means we do things His way, for His purposes. Yes, we may struggle at times. We may not always hit it out of the park. But are we getting better every day at doing what Jesus is leading us to do?
It could be loving our kid(s) more like Jesus. Stepping out in faith on that ministry opportunity. Or simply devoting more of your time, talent or treasure to Him. But the question from Jesus is, "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?"
Father, today help us to make You Lord of our lives in every area. Convict us Holy Spirit if this isn't true of us and strengthen us today to follow You no matter what.
