Sad you, see?

Jesus tells multiple parables in this chapter. Pharisees, Chief Priests, and the Sadducees are spoken of by Jesus and/or questioned by Him. Each time Jesus responds He gives them a biblical answer which can be backed by Scripture. Eventually, we see this response, “But they could not catch Him in His words in the presence of the people. And they marveled at His answer and kept silent.” (Luke 20:26). And this, “Then some of the scribes answered and said, “Teacher, You have spoken well.” But after that they dared not question Him anymore.” Luke 20:39-40

Maybe you also have questions for Jesus? That’s good. Seek the Lord and His Scriptures to get the answers to those questions. Be a part of a local fellowship so you can grow while He is answering your questions. These Sadducees, chief priests, and Pharisees weren’t asking questions to believe. They weren’t interested in seeking after Jesus. Are you asking questions to be more comfortable doing things your own way? If so, you will always be sad you see just like these guys who didn’t believe in the resurrection of the dead. On the other hand, asking questions because you desire to grow in your trust and faith in Jesus is a good thing and leads to life. Keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking… He is there for us!
