Hey... the truth is steps of faith are up to you!
Gideon takes all these men (on the Lord's leading) to drink water and He keeps only 300. Gideon is the leader. The Lord is the Initiator. But let's not forget about the men who say yes. We literally read of those they're going up against, "Now the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the sons of the east were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their camels were without number, as numerous as the sand on the seashore." Judges 7:12
They had to take steps of faith in the midst of insurmountable odds. They had to trust the Lord too. They had to say yes.
Today, the church is called to conquer through love. We give, sacrifice, and live for the kingdom of God. At times it seems like the odds may be against you or me, and the church today but would you say yes? Say yes Lord. Yes Father. Yes I will. Your will be done. Remember, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?" Rom 8:31
One day at a time. One decision at a time. Will you say yes to the Lord? Talk to Him. Listen for Holy Spirit's leading. And say yes! Come on Lord, lead us! Holy Spriit speak.
