Isn't that the truth!

"Then the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson; and the child grew up and the Lord blessed him." Judges 13:24

"...and the Lord blessed him." Samson had not done one thing for the Lord to bless him. Samson had not done one thing for the Lord to choose him. Yet the Lord wondrously visited Samson's parents. He told them what to abstain from "...and he shall begin to deliver Israel from the hands of the Philistines."" Judges 13:5

We will see even though the Lord chose Samson he had a difficult time choosing the Lord over his own selfishness. Regardless the Lord used Samson for Israel's deliverance.

The Lord will get the glory and whether or not we choose to follow the Lord, He uses all for the advancement of His Kingdom and His glory. Living life for our own glory will bear fruit that will eventually die, but living for the glory of the Lord will bear eternal fruit that's everlasting. Choose this day whether you will follow the Lord or not, but today is the day to choose.
