I'm sorry! Father, I can see even in my own life I've turned to other things in my distress instead of You. Forgive me please. You're mighty Father. You're faithful. You have and always will minister to me in my time of need and lead me for Your glory. Thank You!
Restoration. Redemption. Rescue. Replenish. Renewnal. Are results from our Repentance. In Judges we see a rebellious people turn back to a merciful God.
"Also when the Sidonians, the Amalekites and the Maonites oppressed you, you cried out to Me, and I delivered you from their hands. Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods; therefore I will no longer deliver you. The sons of Israel said to the Lord, "We have sinned, do to us whatever seems good to You; only please deliver us this day."" Judges 10:12-13, 15
Saying sorry is one thing, but we must do something with our sorry, "So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord; and He could bear the misery of Israel no longer." Judges 10:16
Have you put other things before the Father? Turn to Him right now. Don't let another minute pass. Later turns into tomorrow, tomorrow into next week, next week into next month... today is the day of salvation!
