The Father tells Joshua to have the heads of each tribe take a stone from the Jordan to make a memorial for their children's children to remember. "Joshua said to them, "Cross again to the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan, and each of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Israel." Josh 4:5
These stones were so heavy they needed to be carried on their shoulders. These were strong men so these must have been like boulders. These memorial stones were not easily moved no matter the storms they faced. The memories of God's goodness were to last forever. Have you allowed all the all the Father has done in your life to be moved? Today, let's remember and share with friends, family, and strangers. Today, tomorrow, and forever let's not let the memory fade of all the Lord has, is, and will do. Let's keep His goodness fresh on our minds and present in our talks with others no matter the storms of life.
