Considering the living word of God as I've read this week I was struck by, "So they finished dividing the land." Josh 19:51

Every tribe of Israel received something. Some received more, some less. Others received land easier to conquer while it was more difficult for others, but everyone received something. It wasn't based upon merit, it was based upon His mercy & grace. Do you realize this speaks of the character of the Father? If we know how to gift our kids how much more does our perfect Father?

"But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name-[Is 56:5]" John 1:12

We're gifted from birth in how He created us, we're gifted spiritually when we're redeemed, and everything we possess is His gift. Do you believe that? If so, then who benefits from those giftings more you or His kingdom? We're His children and all are gifted to some extent. The question is: what or who are you using your gifts for? Father, help us to be kingdom minded like Jesus and to use all we have, our gifts, and who we are for the benefit of Your Kingdom and Your glory, Amen!
