How Long, Lord?

Job endured months of relentless suffering (Job 7:3). Night after night, he found no rest or peace (Job 7:13-14). Exhausted and overwhelmed, he was pushed to his limits. Can you relate to his despair?

In his anguish, Job cries out to God: "How long will You not look away from me, nor let me alone even to swallow my saliva? Have I sinned? What have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your target, so that I am a burden to myself?" Job 7:19-20

Job's conversation with God is raw and honest. Despite his pain, he turns to the Lord with his questions and struggles. Did you know God invites us to do the same? When was the last time you poured out your heart to Him in prayer, wrestling with your doubts or burdens?

Trials and afflictions are inevitable, but Jesus beckons us: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matt 11:28-30

To know Jesus is to find rest. To live for Him is our mission.

To know Jesus. To live on mission.
