FREEDOM!
Job was bound in his suffering, crying out, "Oh, that I were as in months past, As in the days when God watched over me; When His lamp shone upon my head, And when by His light I walked through darkness;" Job 29:2-3
Let's be reminded what Bible says to us:
Nothing can separate you from the love of the Father. Do you believe that? Read Romans 8:31-39
You are no further from the Father today than you were yesterday. Do you trust this truth? Reflect on John 17
Conviction is light; condemnation is heavy. Can you discern the difference in your life? See Romans 8:1
If you fail to recognize the Father's love for you today, it will be difficult to sense His presence. When you forget He is with you RIGHT NOW, you may be tempted to carry the weight of condemnation and miss the gentle pull of the Holy Spirit's conviction, which affirms you are His. Embracing this truth brings freedom, even amid pain or struggle. We are not promised a life without hardship, but as God's children, we are promised freedom in every circumstance. Today, let's pray for someone in your life who feels bound. Let's pray and believe that we can-and should-walk in the freedom Christ died to give us. Let's do this!
