A mixed bag, but there is truth here!

As Bildad speaks, he continues to assess Job's wickedness. His words hold some truth, though not without exception. Consider this: "His roots are dried out below, And his branch withers above." Job 18:16

Spiritually, the wicked do dry up, bearing no lasting fruit. But those who trust in the Lord are different: "Blessed is the man... [whose] delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper." Psalms 1:1-3 (emphasis added)

There is truth in the spiritual drought that comes from straying from God, just as there is truth in the everlasting fruit produced by those who draw near to Him.

Each day, we face choices. Today, will you choose to draw near to God? If you do, He will draw near to you. May your heart be replenished, your soul refreshed, your mind renewed, and your life bear fruit as you choose to walk closely with the Lord!
