If we would or could truly comprehend the depth of God's grace. For if it was a sea of water there would be no bottom man could ever touch or see.

The beginning of chapter 5 Isaiah sings a parable about a vineyard. The good fruit expected from Israel never comes, but because of the Lord hearing the cry of the oppressed judgment from Him does.

Even with continued sin though grace abounds much more. Isaiah writes: "For all His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still. He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar. And will whistle to them from the end of the earth. Isaiah 5:25-26

Did they deserve the Lord to stretch out His hand still? Do we? Absolutely not, the Lord is holy and pure, perfect and full of love. And still when we fall short He never does. The Bible literally says, He "demonstrates His love towards us in while we were yet sinners He died for us."

HIS HAND IS OUTSTRETCHED... I find this comforting and transforming. All that I've done, think, and do yet He's still reaching. Thank you Lord! I pray as we read today and grab ahold of the truth of His transforming grace it will set us free. Free to be loved and free to love greater for His glory and great name.
