He is here. Do you realize that?
Isaiah records these words from the Lord: ""Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you." Isaiah 46:3-4
What a beautiful reminder from our Father. He had been with His people from their very beginning, carrying them through every season of life, and He promised He would continue to carry them in every moment still to come.
The Lord gave David a similar reminder when David desired to build Him a temple: "Thus says the Lord of hosts: "I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you..." 2 Samuel 7:8-9
Do you realize the Lord is with you right now?
Even more than that, if you belong to Christ, the Holy Spirit lives within you, uniting you with the Father and reminding you that you are never alone.
The Lord is with you in every moment, on the mountaintops and in the valleys. He is there in the darkness, and He is there in the light. He was present at your beginning, and He will be faithful until your final breath.
But don't miss this truth: He is present with you right now.
May that reality change the way you live today. May it give you courage in hardship, peace in uncertainty, confidence in obedience, and joy in every circumstance. Wherever you go today, you do not go alone.
